We take all of our photos in intimate, relaxed settings and try to use natural lighting as often as possible. Our sessions are candid & fun! I am are able to coach and guide couples through poses and candid shots. The couples we have served have become more than clients, they are friends. If we have the pleasure of working together, I hope that we can say the same thing about you and your wedding experience
WHY SHOULD I HIRE A PHOTOGRAPHER AND VIDEOGRAPHER FOR MY WEDDING?
Honestly, we see photography as one of the most important and meaningful investments when planning a wedding. You’ll look back on those photos for years to come, so you want them to be done well. However, Video allows you to recreate the whole experience, which is why we always suggest that you hire a photographer AND a videographer. For your wedding day we work alongside each other to capture all of the beautiful moments of your wedding day.
DO YOU SHOOT FILM?
Yes! I shoot a combination of film and digital. I use my professional judgement to decide which format to use when. I take into consideration location, light, subject and circumstances to ensure that you have the most beautiful photographs possible!
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET PHOTOS BACK?
Weddings are delivered in 10 weeks or less. engagement sessions are delivered in 3 weeks or less. I work hard to get your photos back to you as soon as possible with attention to detail in editing, post processing after I receive film scans back from my lab.
WE’RE HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING. DO YOU TRAVEL?
Yes! We love destination weddings and have been lucky enough to travel to amazing places. This is part of our passion. Our WHY behind Kayla Morgan Photogrpahy and Weddings. We love to travel and adventure. Being able to capture the young and in love all around the world, it is what inspires and motivates us. We find it to be such an honor to be a part of capturing marriages wherever they may be. DO I HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?
We highly recommend ordering prints through our professional vendors and labs, but it is not required. The difference in quality is huge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, so we encourage clients to let us help with prints!
HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR WEDDING DATE?
A 50% nonrefundable retainer and signed contract is required in order to get your wedding day on the calendar. One month prior to your wedding, the remainder of the balance is due.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
Kayla shoots on the latest Canon equipment. Our second photographer shoots on the latest Sony equipment. Some of our gear that we always carry includes the Canon 6R, Pentax 645nii film body, 50mm lens, 85 mm lens, 70-200mm lens, 24-70 mm lens. All of our cameras and lenses have backups and are insured in the rare case that anything should happen to one of our pieces.
